That has always been my favorite video you've done. Plus the ball is an AMAZING actor.

Thank you, ^^ I'd have to say its my favorite also.
Yes, the ball is an AMAZING actor! So, much better than some I've worked with for making some of my videos! Everytime, I have tried to use an actor (music video ect) I end up getting screwed because no one decided to read or listen to the song/script til day off.... I really wish my idea for my music video would have worked out though. It was awesome on the shot list and that. >< I had managed to get some nice shots though but the people didn't do a good job singing/pretending to sing. XD
Oh, if you'd like to borrow him Kad, I'm sure he's still somewhere in my room. ^^
Seth, I'm glad you like it! ^^

I'm glad you understand it though you probably shouldn't have too. >< -.- So, many ideas left half filmed, reason why I barely past that class and decided not to take it again.
Seriously, reguardless that I reminded them every day and they said they could do it. I'd be told the day before that they can't or they haven't even looked at the stuff I give to them. ><
Sorry, I still have a grudge about my music video. (I had spend well over a 60 hours putting it all together and listening to the song. And making my things really detailed so it would be easyer. >< )
Actually I believe that one video was born because of my failed music video.. Or it was a different crap video. o.o; I think what I had to make instead I only ended up with three days to finish it and everything. @.@ So, like 2 hours of class time to do it a day.
Edit: The idea was good for the other video but we seriously lacked. Mali has other very nice videos. ^^ Infact her's are much better than my own, honestly. XD I am just saying this because it was mine and Mali's work for the other video that got posted on here. *nod nod*

Spending hundreds of hundreds of hours getting ideas, paperwork, scripts written, locations secured, networking, premissions to film (or otherwise) and a TON of other hard labor as well as MONEY invested.. Only to have your actors shrug it off. I also understand giving the actors the papers.. times, schedules.. and have them ask "what? you didn't tell me" even if you PHYSCIALLY GAVE THEM a sheet and time. So the whole.. "giving up and not doing it again" yeah that hits pretty close to home too. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately (in fact that's all i can do.) Loosing sleep over projects even.. and those silly silly actors we all hate. .. Oh and YES i would love to borrow that actor ball. He's such a good actor I'll even date him. (ps i didn't edit anything on your above post i hit the wrong button >.<)

I would quote what you are saying as well Kad but then I fear we'd have a giant post of quotes.
That has happened to me many of times in my media class. It gets very irrating.
I will have to say this though I do look back and wonder what would have happened if I did stay in there for the next year. >< But, it had gotten to the point where I honestly couldn't take it anymore and it could have effected me gradutating or not. Which was not a chance I wanted to take.
But, all in all it was worth it for what I learned out of it. Even when dealing with idiot of actors. (LEARN THE GOD DARN WORDS lol ) The losing sleep is probably one of the most annoying things about it. >< That happened to me all the time.
Oh, and the actor he is from petsmart so as long as you don't mind where Mr. Ball comes from I'm sure he'd date you. XD He does like to roll quite abit though. He isn't a swinger.

Oh I don't mind if he is from Petsmart. Well It looks like it's time to either throw in the towel or try a new approch. I dunno honestly, It's so sad when you loose sleep and so much more over things. It's sad really, I mean so many people could do something and have a say.. lord knows there are enough people involved in my latest projects. Yet no one ever wants to say anything or do anything, so I get stuck doing all the directing and ordering people around (not that they listen anyway so i guess im ordering air??) anyway, I wish for the life of me I could step back and just be a dumb actress and let someone else be the over demanding director.

Just to say for other people who read this. I have had MANY actors and tried to do many different videos that fell through because of them. Most of which are not and have never been in CZP. Pf I haven't told you guys about every single time I tried to make a video for my media class.
Well, as long as you don't mind that well.... He likes to be rolled acrossed the ground and fall from heights before landing and bouncing off. He doesn't care for being in a dog's mouth if they'll bite him. XD
Well, that is where it gets touchy. >< Its hard to be a director and an actor. (I learned that from my videos) It tends I guess to give double the stress. Some crazied blancing act. -.-
And people need to learn to speak up for one person to feel like they are doing it all really stucks. >< ........
And on a random note, I have the desire to go make a video using music from my media class. A video in which shall require no speaking just good facial expressions and good body laungue. (sp)

Not that I have tons of experience directing, but i can relate to not finding actors willing to do much...
When I did the FMA Monopoly video (I'll post a link to it later tonight in a new thread if anyone cares) for my class I put out posts on like 10 different message boards asking for cosplayers who'd want to be involved, noting that the filming would only take one day. One stinkin' day. I figured I'd get so many responses I'd never be able to decide.
Not. A. Word.
I even went back to the posts after giving up and doing it all as a one-person thing (and trust me its fun to try working a camera while playing two different people who are supposed to be interacting) and posted that the video was done... and I never even got a reply to any of those posts.
Le sigh.
**EDIT: I just noticed I misspelled (or rather, mistyped) "Cosplayers" as "Copslayers" XD Ooops.

And if you find some of the few rare gems who are -actors who are reliable-..they are typically "professional" and wish to be paid. Then you also run the risk of dealing with someone who will act like they know it all and think they are god's gift to acting. ;P
