It's that time again for Saboten-con and Cosplay Zone Character Auction auditions!!!!
The character auction is a event where fans get to buy their favorite anime characters, spend an hour with them, and then sit down and eat with them.
To do this, we need characters to auction off so we are having open auditions! If you would like to audition for a role we do have a few things and rules you will need to follow:
* You need to have your cosplay fully complete with all parts and look the part by the convention. You do not need to have made your cosplay. It is okay if you bought or commissioned, or borrowed the cosplay for this event. If you have any questions on this please feel free to contact us for any reason.
* Have photos of your character, not all directors will be familiar with all anime characters.
* Because this is an anime convention, we will want characters who are related to Japan and the culture of Japan. Basically if it is allowed at the masquerade, that is what will be allowed for our auction, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us for any reason.

* You will not receive the money that is bid on you, but you will be fed at the end of the event.
* You will be with your "bidder" for one hour before going to go have a meal with your "bidder", the other characters, and the other "bidders".
Preferred method of auditioning is to record yourself acting like the char, and then putting it online, and then sending us the link to watch you. Not all the directors can make it every single time to every single audition, so this way you will get a fair chance. If you do not have a way to do this, please contact us to set up a audition that will be recorded. All the directors will review the videos and chose who to have be in the auction and will contact you back.
What to have in your auditions:
* You acting like the character
* Full cosplay done, and finished with all details by the convention.
* Picture of your character in different poses and angles
* Your real name, contact e-mail and phone number, and link to your audition. (contact us for other methods of auditioning)

If you don't get chosen this auction, don't worry, we will need help for backstage stuff, so please if you still want to help, we would love the help!
