There are only about 50 other posts starting with "Hi!" but it is the customary greeting of choice. I'm new to this whole bit and I want to get involved with Cosplay zone. (Allow me to preface this by saying I'm actually making my very first costume ever to show case at Sabuten con, but so far so good? and learning) I just wanted to try my hand at making the costumes versus the acting part, though that sounds intriguing as well. So I was wondering if that's something the group makes, or if they just buy them online?

From what I've seen most of them make their costumes, but your allowed to participate in the charater auction if you buy them. They just care if you look and act like the character. By the way, I'm Ashley. It's nice to meet you. I'm also fairly new to cosplay zone. I hope we get to meet and that we get along well. So what character where you thinking of?

As far as actual costumes for shows and such go we tend to make 'em. I'm sure if you wanted to know about any costume in particular you could ask. :3 And we could always use an extra hand in the costuming so it doesn't all get pushed onto Bob1 xD She ends up making most of the costumes (Like for our Ouran show, if I remember correctly she made everyone's jackets.).
But aside from that if you're not really interested in acting I'm sure we could use some stage ninjas if you'd be up for that. Basically doing the "behind the scenes" stuff that makes our shows run smoothly, things like set changes, curtain pulling, and even helping actors with costume switches if needed.

well I don't mind the acting bit, it's fun . I just have been really enjoying working with my costume. As far as the things cosplay zone has been working on not sure which character I'd want to be from those. And I'd enjoy meeting you as well! Currently I'm working on several costumes actually: an armored costume (Erza from fairytail); Fabric (Natsu from fairytail), and going to be starting working costumes from other things as well. These are just the outfits that me and my friend will be wearing to Sabuten con. I also know from what you all mentioned at the meet and greets that there was a membership fee and have yet to know how to submit that haha. I know it goes towards helping you guys fund things.

Welcome aboard, Skitz! I'm Allan, one of the "longrunners" of the group. I make most of my costumes myself, and if you'd like any advice, feel free to shoot me a question :-)
