So for those of you who knew, I was in Boston thru last week.
(now everyone knows. huh.)
But hey, Cathie and I made it back safe and sound (at 3 AM Tuesday) despite turbulence and a flight delay that threatened to leave us stranded in Atlanta for 24 hours.
Anybody ever run the length of two concourses in Atlanta's airport in under four minutes and then nearly throw up from it on a plane? I did. (No, I don't recommend it. It's not as cool as it sounds. Oh, wait, it doesn't even sound cool. Nvm.) :-P
Anyhoo, It was an awesome trip, despite being cold and wet for most of the week (Which, I'm told, is quite unusual for Boston this time of year)
And one random guy on the street heard I was from Las Vegas... and got quite annoyed with me that I didn't know the median house price and pay scale for a job in Phoenix.
Me: Why would I know that?
Guy: (Snottily) Well, don't you work for a living???
Me: Er, yeah, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Guy: Well, Phoenix is just one state over!
Me: -.-;
(I guess since the states are smaller in New England, everyone knows everyone else's business for a five state radius XD Incidentally, I coulda given him the names of a bunch of cool people who live in Phx, but that's about it :-D)
Oh, and while carrying a notebook (I was jotting down ides for a CZP script while waiting on laundry at the laundromat) One guy asked if I worked for the Boston Globe. LOL.
So... I'm also planning (hoping) to make it out to Phoenix for a few days mid-July to do some planning stuff with D and J. Of course, I gotta see as many of my awesome friends as possible. (Hint, hint)
::hugs::
